The form below helps Path to Canada determine if you might qualify for a Canadian work visa. We need to know this BEFORE we introduce you to Canadian tech companies. The form also helps us understand your tech education and tech background so that we can match you to the right tech job in Canada.
Note – Path to Canada is not an immigration law firm. We partner with Canadian immigration law firms who make the actual determination on your immigration status to Canada.
In parallel to looking for a tech job in Canada, you should also start the Canadian permanent residence process. Becoming a permanent resident of Canada is similar to getting a US Green Card. While coming to Canada with a job offer through the Global Talent Stream is one option, some of you may be able to apply for permanent residence right away – if you have a high enough score (as it is a points-based program). This is why we recommend you look into it as soon as possible, especially if you’re struggling to land a job or work permit.
Path to Canada partnered with Visto.ai, a Canadian immigration platform which offers a low cost and fast online process to help you determine which Canadian programs you may qualify for. Since there are so many ways to immigrate to Canada, Visto can help you determine which one might be best for you.

Currently we can only assist people living in the US with a US tech degree and 3+ years of work experience. We can also assist those who have all of the above, but left the US within the last year to return to their home country.

Path to Canada does not charge candidates for any of our services. The employer pays Path to Canada for placements. Please note, there are always costs associated with Canadian immigration (ex: permanent residence application cost). Once you’ve been approved as a candidate, we can help you calculate the total cost for legal type fees.
Each case is unique. It will likely take at least 30 days for a company to select and hire you. And then at least 2 weeks for Canadian immigration to approve the Global Skills application.
